After the success of the first edition, the World Mobility Summit returns to Montreal from May 30 to June 1st. MyBus, the mobile application for public transportation, is back for the 2018’s edition. It will be, as last year, present in the Start-Up Village.
Movin’On: the must-attend event to discover the latest news on mobility
Movin’On is a huge laboratory for sustainable mobility. The event will bring together more than 4000 mobility players in Montreal. The entire economic ecosystem is represented: industrialists, policy makers, media, academies and scientists.
In the event’s heart, the Start-up Village, a place aiming to put forward the most innovative startups in terms of mobility. This space dedicated for accelerating ideas will feature 40 Startups from around the world.
Like last year, MyBus will be exhibiting its ultra-light ticketing and passenger information solution for public transport networks. While in May 2017 MyBus was available on a single transport network, a year later there are more than a dozen networks that put their trust in the start-up.
Transport at the heart of the Movin’On!
Movin’On will feature more than 90 influencers in the field of transport. Indeed, government representatives and opinion leaders will share the stage during this second edition to talk about transport news.
For its part, the city of Montreal makes public transportation a priority in its development. Today, in over 8 million daily trips, 70% are taken by car. Thus, Montreal wants to reduce congestion by working on a better organization of urban transport.
MyBus is a solution that improves the user experience ; that’s why the MyBus experience will be tested during Movin’On. Each participant will have the opportunity to see in real time on his smartphone all vehicles. (Shuttles, buses and private vehicles). The goal of the organizers and MyBus is clear: Provide an enhanced user experience by allowing attendees to live-test the CES 2018 awarded solution.
